For various reasons I have made a new blog. I will try to be more faithful in posting on my new one, but it may turn out the same as this blog. I hope everyone will continue to follow me at: http://katies--korner.blogspot.com/.

We Passed!

Tori, Nathan, Cody, and I all passed the Associational Bible drill and are moving on to State! I am so excited, relieved and nervous at the same time. I just hope we can do as well the 24th of April at the next drill.

Callie and most of the children are also advancing on to the state drill! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we do our best to bring honor and glory to God by learning His word.

Bible Drills

At our church we have a program called Bible Drill. In this program kids memorize Bible verses, important passages of scripture, the books in the Bible, and practice looking things up fast.
There is a youth and children's class. I am in the youth class along with Cody, Tori W., and Nathan L. At the end of the year there are a series of three drills- church, associational, and state. Next Wednesday is our church drill. If we all pass we will move along to the associational drill on Friday and then to state next month. I would really appreciate your prayers as we practice for this event. I would love for the verses we read and quote to touch someone's heart and motivate them to find out more about God's love. Hopefully God will use this to draw someone else into His kingdom.

Visiting the Ducks.

Last week, Tori came over and we went out to the pond to see the ducks. All five of them came up and stayed around us. Tori and Callie played with them and fed them bread while I took pictures.
Hope you enjoy!

The duck in the front with the green head Tori claimed as hers. The one in the back is mine.

This is the duck Callie wanted along with another that looks just like it. She named them Nick and Nate.

This is another one of Tori's ducks.

We had so much fun and can't wait until the next time we can go visit the ducks.

We're back!

Cody, Daddy, and I got back from Winterplace on Sunday. We had a great time and got alot of skiing in ( I still would have stayed longer if I could). I definitely improved over the two days we were there.

Night skiing was my favorite part. We skied in a group with Nathan L., Jacob S., and Seth D. Everyone had a ball and can't wait 'til our next trip!

Sorry I don't have any pictures. I was afraid to take my camera to the slopes and other than that there wasn't much to take pictures of.

Off to the slopes!

In a little over a week, Daddy, Cody, and I will be going to Winterplace with the youth group! We will be leaving on January 22nd and coming back on the 25th. While we're there we will be able to ski two days as well as night skiing. We will also be able to have Bible studies with the whole youth group. Be sure to check my blog for an update and pictures!
